On August 9, a serious container explosion occurred at the Beilun Port Terminal in Ningbo, When a container ship named "YM MOBILITY" was docked, the transit dangerous goods container on board exploded.
The ship is deployed on the Yangming CGX route, calling Shanghai Port, Ningbo Port, Xiamen Port, Shekou Port, Port Klang, Jebel Ali Port, Hamad Port, Umm Qasr Port and Singapore Port.
After the accident, the Ningbo Maritime Search and rescue centre immediately activated the emergency plan and coordinated the rescue. The explosion caused no casualties and the pier was not significantly affected.
