In contrast, the European pharmaceutical industry is facing a direct impact. Ireland, a major export hub, accounts for over 60% of U.S. pharmaceutical imports. Multinational pharmaceutical companies have previously increased their investments in the U.S., but the tariff policy may affect their future factory construction plans, further exacerbating volatility in the industry.
