In view of the recent discussions between the two sides, they believe that continuous consultations will help address the issues of concern in the economic and trade field. Guided by the spirit of mutual openness, continuous communication, cooperation and mutual respect, both sides will continue to advance relevant work. Both sides commit to amending the regulations on tariffs before May 14, 2025. After the amendment, the two sides will establish a mechanism to continue consultations on economic and trade relations. The consultations can be held in China, the United States or a third country agreed upon by both sides. As needed, both sides can conduct consultations at the working level on relevant economic and trade issues.
